This significant milestone underscores Boehringer Ingelheim’s commitment to achieving a unified, end-to-end global Safety system for case processing, now empowered to handle their mid-size annual volume with more increased efficiency and reduced costs. The move aligns with Boehringer Ingelheim’s forward-leading strategy to align worldwide teams on one easy-to-use centralized Safety system for their global pharmacovigilance operations, while also leveraging next-generation technologies offered by the platform.
Going live with LifeSphere MultiVigilance for the Japanese market, includes specific qualities such as:
- Out-of-the-box Japan-specific processes that are seamlessly harmonized with the main global processes;
- Turnkey support and compliance for Japan-specific regulatory requirements and dictionaries, while leveraging local Japanese talent for implementation and support;
- Management of Safety database as a unified global process, offering a native Japanese language user interface and case intake support and single source of truth for all the cases created within the system.
